Frequently Asked Questions

All massages at Juniper are strictly professional services aimed at alleviating tension and promoting relaxation.
At the start of your appointment, a verbal intake will occur regarding your current health, any ailments your dealing with, and your goals for the session. Be honest and feel free to ask questions at this time!
After intake, you will be briefly alone in the room to undress and get under the covers on the table.
When the therapist returns to the room, you will be asked if you’re comfortable, if you want music/sound adjusted, or the table heater on/off.
From there, your session will begin. You will be asked if you would prefer more or less pressure, but feel more than welcome to communicate with your therapist to ensure the best experience.
When the session ends, take your time getting off the table and getting dressed, and help yourself to a complimentary beverage. -
Click the link that says “book now” to get scheduled. A valid credit or debit card is required. You must fill out the health history and consent waiver to have your appointment secured. After completing those forms, you will receive notice that your appointment has been confirmed.

1) Show up on time, or ideally 5 minutes before.
2) Have your phone on silent during the session if you’re able. Sometimes a phone going off can activate your sympathetic nervous system/fight or flight response and tense your muscles!
3) Communicate with your therapist. Let your therapist know if something hurts, or if you need more/less pressure, if the music is too loud, if you need to go to the bathroom, if you’re feeling anxious - let us know. We want to provide the best experience possible for you, and don’t want you to be in your head the whole time.
4) Don’t feel obligated to chat during the entire session if you prefer a more silent appointment - we will get the message. :)
5) Take your time getting off the table. It’s normal to feel a bit disoriented or lightheaded after a massage. Sit down, drink some water, take your time. -
If you cannot keep your appointment, I ask you to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible.
Cancelling 24 hours or less before an appointment provides very little time to fill a last-minute opening. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice or do not show, your card on file will be charged in full for the appointment.
An appointment is considered a no-show if the client hasn’t shown up by 20 minutes after their appointment time without any communication.
Multiple No-Shows may result in termination of the therapist/client relationship. -
To get the most out of your session, please arrive on time or ideally 5-10 minutes before and wait in the lobby until we greet you.
If you are arriving late, it is not expected for you to receive your full session time.
Being 20+ minutes late without any communication will be considered a no-show. -
We accept all major credit/debit cards, as well as Apple Pay.
Juniper Massage does not accept cash, checks, or health insurance at this time. -
You don’t! As a business owner, I do not ask for or expect tips. If you feel compelled to show appreciation in another way-please refer your friends and family, or leave a google or facebook review. Thank you!
